Shane Davenport opened Hit & Run to service a select clientele of achieving athletes. Providing a high level of service, of insight and instruction has always been at the heart of Shane's pursuits. From his eight years at the Ray Burris Academy of Sports Instruction in Fort Worth, Texas, Shane also brings the knowledge of the necessary steps for preparing athletes of all ages for long-term success.

Shane and the instructors at Hit & Run have individually trained countless individuals ages 4 and up in the fundamentals of baseball and other sports. These instructors have had the honor of seeing many of their students through high school, college, minor and major league careers.

In 2004, Shane was a key member of an instruction team that saw eight students signed contracts to play under major league teams. Shane always brings a high level of instruction, expertise and passion to individual sessions, clinics and camps. Shane's goal is to teach students the fundamentals, mechanics and movements, which will help your child achieve a higher degree of success in playing his/her sport.
